Hanna & Kari live in Lumijoki ("Snowriver" in English) in Northern Finland, 45 kilometers southwest from Oulu, Pia (who joined Northgate's in summer 2014) lives 50 km further to west in Pattijoki.

Hanna:

Pharaoh Hounds are my love and passion. I bred my Pharaoh Hound litter in 1992 and first Northgate's Pharaoh Hound litter (bred together with my husband Kari) was born in 2004.

We go to racing, lure coursing and shows with our dogs but first of all they are highly loved members of our family.

We have 7 Pharaoh Hounds and 3 Italian Greyhounds at home and also couple of Hounds in co-ownership with our friends. To meet our hounds have a look under "The Hounds " from main menu.

Pia:

As my husband's No 1 hobby is hunting we have had Pointing Dogs since early 90's, dearest beed of them to me being Spinone. My first Italian Greyhound Latte (Northgate's Envy Me) was born in 2007 and when Latte got puppies I became interested in breeding. Our dogs are part of our family and life. Almost all the leisure time we spend either hunting, showing our dogs or in racing/Lure Coursing competitions.
